Josh Oakley Baseball Scholarship Fund

Donation protected
Josh Oakley loved baseball.
More than baseball he loved connecting with kids who played his favorite sport. When Josh began working at Life Prep Academy, it didn't take long for the kids to fall in love with him.  Just like his life, he went the extra mile and gave all he had to the kids. Josh's life was full of curve balls, but never did he let that stop him. His story of overcoming inspired the team, and due to Life Prep's unique group of students from across the globe, you can truly say he was a world changer.

When Josh's time here on earth was suddenly finished, we know he met his savior, Jesus Christ, face to face. His physical presence will be missed tremendously, but his legacy is far from over. Josh's family desires for that legacy to live on in the program he believed in, and loved coaching in, the Life Prep Baseball program.

Life Prep believed greatly in Josh. His family shares how the school generously supported him during his hospital stays or time away for infusions he needed as a heart transplant recipient. Starting a scholarship fund for the program was a homerun when choosing a memorial fund honoring his life.

The Oakley family knows that seeing kids get to play the sport he loved, and hear the good news of the gospel, is the legacy Josh would desire. This scholarship fund will tell of his inspirational story to every young man for years to come. When a young man desires to be on the LPA baseball team, in need of financial assistance,  they will know who Coach Josh was, and how he lives on with them. The spirit of generosity will live on for every student-athlete this fund will bless.
Join us as we hit one out of the park in Josh's memory.  All Funds will be used for The Josh Oakley Baseball Scholarship Fund, distributed through the Life Prep Athletic Department, in accordance with Josh's family's guidance. The gifts will be given in Josh's name and honor.
Thank you for honoring the memory and impact of this incredible son, brother, man, coach, and friend.
