On Saturday, what should have been a joyful day turned into a devastating tragedy for Josh and his two children, Luna (7) and Jahmir (11) from Carshalton.

While they were out enjoying an Easter egg hunt together, their home was engulfed in a fire. By the time they returned, everything they owned had been destroyed. Their home, their belongings, their memories — all gone in an instant.

Heartbreakingly, their beloved family dog Duggie did not survive the fire, adding an unimaginable layer of grief to an already devastating situation.

Josh, Luna, and Jahmir have been left with nothing. They no longer have a home to return to, no clothes, no toys, and none of the everyday essentials we often take for granted. They are currently staying in temporary hotel accommodation in Morden, trying to process what has happened and figure out how to begin again.

This family now faces the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

We are asking our community — and anyone who is able — to come together and support Josh, Luna, and Jahmir during this incredibly difficult time.
