Josh Hansen Memorial: Funeral and Family Fund
Donation protected
My cousin and friend Josh Hansen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly with his wife Katie by his side on Friday Sept 17th, 2021.Josh was only 41 and had so much more life to live to be taken away from us this early. It goes without saying that his wife, young children, family and friends are gutted and devastated.
Those who knew Josh know that he was always the life of the party. It was simply impossible to walk away from an interaction with him without having had a good laugh. The jokester in him aside, Josh loved his family and friends more than anything, especially his wife Katie and his children Ryan (17), Ben (15), and Amber (13). Scrolling through his Facebook is proof of his love as it is one big tribute to his kids accomplishments and how proud he is of them.
He loved football (Go Beavers!) and basketball…he loved comics and the movies that came from them. He was always there for a big hug or to support you in a time of need or celebrate in a time of joy.
Please join me in helping Katie. As Katie faces losing the love of her life and trying to emotionally support her three kids, she needs our help. Though she would never ask for assistance, I know she will face significant difficulty from the cost of the funeral, time off work, and other expenses involved. Sadly, she is also facing a loss in monthly income that will be difficult to cover immediately. This fund can give Katie some breathing room to mourn the loss of her husband and regroup emotionally and financially.
Thank you so much for your assistance and love during this extremely difficult time for the family. All funds will go directly to the family and anything helps. We are forever grateful.
RIP “Coach”
