Josh Good’s Cancer Fund

Hello everyone!

Our dear friend/brother/father/husband/Scarlett’s Uncle, Josh Good, is currently battling an uphill cancer battle needs all the prayers and support at this time.

Josh was diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer in May of 2022 after going to the ER for what he thought was a bladder infection. They did a CT scan after antibiotics did not work and developed a fistula, which is when the medical staff realized they needed further testing. He had emergency surgery once it was determined cancerous, then placed with a colonoscopy bag, in hopes they got all of the cancer removed and would be able to remove the colonoscopy bag at a later time.

Immediately he was put through 8 rounds of chemotherapy by December 2022.

He had brief remission after the last round, proceeded to get his colonoscopy bag removed in January 2023. But after PET scan, the medical team discovered his cancer spread to his back muscles, pelvic area, as well as still remaining in his colon…which is now Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

Unfortunately, due to the spread of cancer, he not only has a colonoscopy bag but also a Urostomy bag.

As of today, Josh does chemotherapy every other week in the hospital and does at home chemotherapy every 48 hours.

Only time will tell how the chemotherapy treatments will work.

If you know Josh, you know his spirit is still intact. He is taking this battle with grace and of course, with really good music playing.

Josh and his wife, Angela, have full time jobs, but unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover everything. They have already spent over $50,000 Out of pocket. Especially, since Josh is unable to work full time. It is stressful to worry day to day about the expenses that come their way.
