In October of '19 our dear friend, colleague, father, son, uncle and amazing individual Josh Gillett became aware of a large tumor in his colon. Pathology work came back to confirm cancer which metastasized to his liver as well. At that time it was determined to be stage IV and inoperable. Josh began chemo treatment immediately with rounds of infusion every other week.
There are very real and high direct costs of cancer treatment —but there are other indirect costs that are just as significant for cancer patients and their families. This GoFundMe seeks to address these costs and hopefully relieve stress outside the immediate importance of winning the battle with cancer. Josh and his wife, Mary, have four beautiful children and what we hope will be a long life of loving memories to come. You generosity no matter how big or small will be immensely helpful and a gracious gesture to the Gillett family. Beyond this, well wishes, hugs, and prayers are all welcome.
