Hi my name is Debbie and I have a friend, a beautiful friend, and this is her story.
Deanna and Dave have three boys, Mitchel, Mathew and Josh, her youngest.
Their world was shattered last Friday.
You see, Josh had discovered a lump on his leg back in Novemeber, and after many tests they were told Josh had Sarcoma.
They scheduled him right away to have the tumor removed, and just a few days before Christmas, with his surgery complete, he was sent home to recover.
A round of aggressive radiation was started in January. Josh told his mom that once his treatment was done in February he wished he could take some time and do some travelling to see some parts of the world before returning to college.
Last week he felt a pain in his chest and was sent for tests, they thought pehaps it was from using crutches while recovering. They took an xray and then ordered a CT scan where they confirmed to Deanna that the cancer had spread to both Josh's lungs.
They are devastated with the news that thier youngest son will not live a long and full life.
My hope with this gofundeme account is to raise enough money to give Josh his wish of a trip somewhere, see some of this beautiful world while he is still able.
