Josh Emerson Memorial fund

For those who don’t know, my step brother , Josh Emerson,  passed away late Thursday evening at the young age of 23. This is a very difficult time for our family as it is very unexpected and a tragic loss for everyone. Josh was a bright young man who played sports most of his adult life. He loved track and field and cross country running. His friends and family would describe him as quiet , yet funny and full of life. He had a passion for the military after joining the army post high school.  Soon after that, Josh made the police academy as an officer for the Savannah, Georgia police department. Josh had a love for servicemen,  after following in his Father’s footsteps, who was Fire Chief of the Scottsville fire department for many years. Josh had a bright future and was loved by so many people. As you can imagine, we are beyond heartbroken and trying to come to terms with what has happened.  Josh Is currently in Savannah, Georgia, survived by his wife, Jasmine.  We are reaching out for anyone who would like to support to Josh’s memorial fund. Funeral costs are expensive, including the travel of having two services in two different states. Given this circumstance, we are asking those  to donate in Josh’s honor. Let’s come together so that we can help to give Josh the proper burial he deserves as we lay him to rest.
