Supporting the rehabilitation for Josh Couling

Hi, my name is Mike Benton. In just under 2 weeks time (Saturday 26th April), I will be undertaking the Steeple & Spires marathon. It is a walk (not run) taking in the villages between Sleaford and Lincoln, across many fields, along tracks and taking in the rivers Slea and Witham. The intention was to do this as part of a group for my own wellbeing. However just recently, my friends 23 year old nephew sustained significant injuries during a motorcycle accident and is now undergoing intense therapy to help him regain his independence and hopefully be able to walk again. His name is Josh and he lives in Virginia USA. Josh is self employed but unable to afford medical insurance and unlike the UK where we benefit from the NHS, he and his family will be facing a very sizeable financial difficulty as well as the physical and psychological challenges going forward for Josh himself. I am therefore taking the opportunity to not just do this walk for myself but to help someone else at the same time. If you are able to spare a bit of cash, that will be greatly appreciated. I am in regular contact with Josh’s uncle and dad and all funds received will be forward directly to Josh’s family following the marathon. Thank you.
