Josh come to summer beach project!

I am Joshua, an International student from Kenya, a freshman at the University of West Georgia. I grew up in the United Arab Emirates. My relationship with God really started at the of thirteen, when I gave my life to Christ at a bible camp in Barbados on a family vacation. I have the chance to attend Summer Beach Project with a college ministry called Campus Outreach. Summer Beach Project (SBP) is an investment of 2 months that will pay dividends throughout the remainder of students’ lives! The goal of Project is to equip students to walk with God and impact others for a lifetime. The event is designed to help students grow in their relationship with Christ while also building relationships with other college students. I would like the opportunity to go to Summer Beach Project to further my walk with God and be disciplined to have a heart for the nations and be equated to share the gospel to the nations. The yearning is how I know I am truly His child. One of my favorite verses is Nehemia 1:11(ESV) “O, Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant His mercy in the sight of this man” The part where Nehemia is asking God to be attentive to the prayer of his servants that delight to fear His name would be an apt description of myself although not perfect by any standards I do delight to fear God’s name. I enjoy serving Him by having a heart for the people. Due to my visa, I can only work on the UWG campus. This fundraiser will allow me to still attend project and volunteer instead of working. This will cover basic living needs such as food, living expenses, and anything else I may need.
