Hi, I'm Jen Bertagnole, stepmom to Josh Bertagnole. On February 20, 2024, my stepson's wife, CheyAnne, was rushed to the hospital for an emergency c-section. While laboring at home, baby Swithin's cord prolapsed, leading to the critical need for a c-section to save his life. Baby Swithin was taken by Life Flight to Primary Children's Hospital.

Unfortunately, CheyAnne does not have health insurance. Cord prolapse is an unexpected and rare complication. No one could have anticipated this outcome during what had been a normal and healthy pregnancy.

Medical expenses for CheyAnne and baby Swithin are rapidly rising, and they pose a significant financial burden on this young family. In response, a group of family members has joined forces to launch this GoFundMe campaign on their behalf.
