Josh Campbell's Funeral & Medical Expenses

December 8th, 2024: Unfortunately, Josh's Journey has come to an end here on earth and we have updated this go fund me to reflect that - all funds donated here will go directly to his significant other, Julie Kruszewski, as she has been out of work for 7 months now and is left with many unexpected expenses included but not limited to; his funeral arrangements, his medical bills, and his celebration of life that will take place in the spring.

Josh's legacy will live on through many others as he was an organ donor.

Original Post from April 2024: On Sunday evening, a devastating event disrupted Josh Campbell’s life. Abruptly losing consciousness marked the onset of this distressing ordeal. Josh was immediately rushed to Memorial Hospital where he was intubated and put on life support.

Josh remains in the ICU in critical condition.

This sudden loss of consciousness caused Josh to hit the concrete with full force resulting in multiple skull fractures, a facial fracture, brain swelling, and blood scattered throughout his brain. Unfortunately due to the swelling and blood on his brain, his neurosurgeon and trauma team could not pin point what caused this sudden loss of consciousness. His neurosurgeon’s first concern was possible damage to a main artery/vein at the base of his neck.

Monday morning his CT scan showed hopeful results and the artery/vein was not damaged. However, Josh is not out of the woods quite yet.

His neurosurgeon’s next concern is his brain swelling. The next 3-5 days are crucial for his survival of this unexpected incident.

This very second Josh is in for the long haul of possible surgery, recovery, therapy, and healing. We are unsure the extent of his injuries, recovery time, and healing process as it’s all a waiting game at this point. When/if the swelling goes down, the doctors will know more.

We are raising money to help Josh & Julie pay some of these unexpected medical expenses as they both will be out of work for the unforeseeable future while Josh recovers and Julie will be by his side.
