Josh Caldwell’s Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Katie Higgs and I am raising money for my brother-in-law, Josh Caldwell. Josh recently went to the hospital for a routine appendectomy and once they opened him up they found a cancerous mass behind his appendix. Along with the appendectomy, Josh also had a right hemi-colectomy with cancer screening and surgery, partial large intestine removal and large mass removed behind appendix. Josh has no benefits at work, will be out of work for at least 6 weeks. Along with this current surgery, a biopsy of his liver led to placing him on the transplant list for a new liver.

His wife, Alexis (my sister), would never ask anyone for help. She is the rock of her family and keeps the ship sailing day in and day out despite Josh’s medical issues. She gets her 3 younger children to school and all of their extracurricular activities without missing a beat all the while caring for Josh while he is in the hospital for the foreseeable future.

Like I said, Alexis would never ask for help, she is always the one helping others. I know money is tight for everyone these days, but if you have it in you to donate, I promise it’s going to help out one tremendous family that is truly deserving!
