Hello everyone,
We are Coyote Junction, and we are setting up this fundraiser in honor of our bandmate, friend, and brother, Josh Bourelle, and his family.
Josh’s impact reached far beyond the stage. He was a treasured member of his community, and above all, a devoted husband and father whose love for his family was the heartbeat of his life. Everything Josh did—whether it was mastering the solos to our favorite songs, smoking meat for Civic Squeal, mowing lawns on the summer weekends, or serving his community on town council—was rooted in that same care, commitment, and joy that he poured into his family.
To us, Josh began as a bandmate, but soon became so much more—a friend, a brother, and an essential part of our lives. At every rehearsal, his positivity and humor lifted the room, and his dedication pushed all of us to continue to get better. We could always count on Josh to say "yes" to every opportunity. On stage, he was both humble and hardworking, always giving his all to the music.
He was an incredible communicator and listener, someone who truly heard you and valued your perspective. Josh was kind, funny, and always the first to lend a hand. He gave his time generously - from serving on council, to lending a hand in his community, to cheering on his children in all their endeavors. He would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He will be deeply missed across so many communities. But most of all, the deepest loss is felt by the family who was his world.
On Saturday, September 20, we lost Josh far too soon. His passing was unexpected and a loss that will leave a hole in many hearts and communities. Josh leaves behind his beloved wife Kezia, and their children, Layla, Stella, Annie and Fisher and they are now facing not only the heartbreak of losing him, but the financial burden of this unexpected loss.
This GoFundMe has been created to support Josh's family with any funeral expenses, daily needs and to give them some peace of mind as they navigate the days ahead.
Josh touched so many lives with his laughter, his music, his friendship and his community spirit. Every donation, no matter the size, is a way to honour his memory and support the family that he loved so deeply. Thank you for keeping Josh's generous spirit alive with your generosity. Let's rally around Kezia, Layla, Stella, Annie and Fisher, the way that Josh rallied around all of us.
