Josh Bath & Family

Hi, my name is Autumn (Josh's Girlfriend). I have seen how many people have wanted to help, so here is your chance...

Although Josh and his family are not the types of people to ask for help in this way, they obviously could use the extra support during a time like this for the additional expenses and the long road ahead of them. Anything helps during these challenging times.

Here are the most updated details of where we are now:

Early Sunday morning, around 1:00 am, Josh, myself, and a few friends of ours were all gathered around a burn barrel to have a nice finish to our night with our friends and within minutes is when the disaster hit. All we know right now is that there was oil and gasoline in the barrel with regular trash, etc. We are still unsure as to what caused the explosion to happen. Josh was standing about 15 feet from the barrel when it rose in flames.

We quickly rushed Josh to Kennestone, and they instantly gave him a detox shower and got him settled and they pronounced that roughly 20% of his body got burnt. Areas are his whole face, the right side of his neck, and 3/4 of his arms from elbows to fingertips. We were then transferred over to Wellstar at Cobb Austell Burn Unit. Since being at the burn unit, he has undergone two major skin surgeries where they have had to add some donor skin to extreme places.

Everyone who knows Josh knows he is an outgoing man who dedicates his time and hard work to the people around him. He is such a wonderful friend and will help anyone in need when they need it. He also loves his job. If most of you do not know, he is a truck driver (Hotshotting) for an excellent company called Watch This Freight, located in Washington State. He is very active with his social media accounts and has made new friends worldwide. I know he will not admit it himself, but we desperately will need a lot of help in the coming months as he recovers because of monthly expenses; he will not be able to get back to work for an unknown amount of time, the fuel for when he becomes an outpatient for physical therapy and dressing changes and upcoming surgeries.

Between here and Facebook, I will keep the updates coming along. I will update the good and bad days and all of his upcoming surgeries and when we will officially be able to go back home to our house to continue the outpatient visits.

We, indeed, are thankful for everyone's prayers and thoughts! He reads everyone's comments on all the updates, and it truly does help bring his spirits back up. Thank you in advance for any donations.
