My name is Brenda Phalen, and my reason for reaching out to you, on behalf of Josh and Samantha “Sam” Bistline, is because their lives have been dramatically impacted since December 2024 when Josh was diagnosed with testicular cancer. My heart and prayer lead me to help find a solution to the financial challenges they are faced with, especially since their income has been cut in half. Also, I personally felt compelled to help because I was hit by the disruption of cancer in 2009 and experienced the immense worry about how I was going to pay my bills and mortgage.

The struggle has intensified for Josh and Sam as Josh’s chemotherapy started on 2/17/24 with a planned 3 months of treatment.

Josh and Sam will use the money donated to pay for general bills, groceries, and their mortgage. They will also have out-of-pocket medical expenses to cover.
