Josh and Chloe Carr House Fire
Josh, Chloe, and their sweet kids moved to Alaska a few months ago. Yesterday, on February 4th, their house caught on fire while they were out picking up their son from school. They stood outside their home in the freezing cold temperatures and watched as their home burned, experiencing all the emotions one can have during a devastation. However, as Josh said “what truly matters most in his life was thankfully no where near the house” and they are just grateful to all be safe.
What people don’t know is that Josh and Chloe came down from Oregon to help my family after we lost our house in the Camp Fire in 2018. He texted me one day and said “We’re in town. Let’s go, we’re going shopping to get whatever your family needs” with the proceeds from what their church ward gathered for victims of the Camp Fire.
I never thought I could ever repay their act of kindness and love they provided my family. But now I can and I hope we can give back support and love to their family.
