Hello everyone!

First, Ashlyn and I would like to reiterate that your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift that you could give us, and we're very appreciative of the time and travel expense necessary for many of you to join us in person. We can't wait to start a lifetime of adventures and memories together in the presence of our closest friends and family!

Some of you have asked how to best help us start this next chapter of our lives together. In truth, Ashlyn and I have already been blessed with many of the traditional household items that newlyweds need to start out together. But one thing we've never experienced in our nearly 7 years together is a bonafide adventure. In fact, neither of us has ever traveled outside of the country with the exception of Ontario, Canada!

Keeping in mind our UP-inspired wedding theme and the spirit of adventure shared by Carl and Ellie, we've decided to allocate any wedding gifts toward a European honeymoon in Berlin, Germany in 2019. There, we will soak in the culture and history of one of the most vibrant metropolitan cities in the world. All proceeds will go toward airfare, accommodations, transportation, dining, and activities - like an evening at the German State Opera, or an afternoon at the Berlin Zoo in the beautiful Tiergarten district. We know we might not have many opportunities to go on an adventure like this in the future, and we plan to make the most of it!

Should you not wish to make a donation through this webpage, we will gladly accept personal checks instead*. We will also be documenting our experiences in our own Adventure Book (a Christmas gift I made for Ashlyn in 2014) if anyone would like to follow along with us.
