Please help cover funeral expenses for Jose Trinidad!

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of my dad Jose Trinidad “Alfredo” Olguin.

Alfredo touched the lives of so many with his patience, kindness & love. As we navigate this difficult time, we are faced with the unexpected burden of funeral expenses.

As many of you know we have been caring for my dad for most of my life as he had a debilitating stroke in 2000 and then diagnosed with dementia in 2015. He was strong and didn’t let those things stop him he took care of his many chickens, dogs, ducks, and rabbits throughout his life. He loved his grandchildren and animals most of all.

He was in love with my mom for 53 years, he took care of her and made sure to have a gift for her on Valentine’s day and her birthday.

He was so incredibly strong even through all these obstacles that we didn’t imagine this was expected any time soon, he has gone through other sicknesses, debilitating moments and hospital stays that we truly thought he would be pulling through.

These moments are especially hard for my mom as she is facing the most emotional and financial burden.

We are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time to ensure that we can honor his memory in a way that reflects the incredible person that he was.

We have set a goal of $15,000 to cover these expenses, the funds will be used for, funeral service, burial costs, transportation, memorial service, etc. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.

Con gran pesar les comparto la noticia del fallecimiento de mi papá José Trinidad “Alfredo” Olguín.

Alfredo tocó la vida de muchas personas con su paciencia, amabilidad y amor. Mientras atravesamos este momento difícil, nos enfrentamos a la carga inesperada de los gastos funerarios.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, hemos estado cuidando a mi papá durante la mayor parte de mi vida, ya que sufrió un derrame cerebral debilitante en 2000 y luego le diagnosticaron demencia en 2015. Él era fuerte y no dejó que esas cosas lo detuvieran, cuidó de su muchas gallinas, perros, patos y conejos a lo largo de su vida. Amaba sobre todo a sus nietos y a los animales.

Estuvo enamorado de mi mamá durante 53 años, la cuidó y se aseguró de tenerle un regalo en el día de San Valentín y en su cumpleaños.

Fue tan increíblemente fuerte incluso a través de todos estos obstáculos que no imaginamos que esto se esperaría en el corto plazo; ha pasado por otras enfermedades, momentos debilitantes y estadías en el hospital que realmente pensamos que superaría.

Estos momentos son especialmente difíciles para mi mamá, ya que enfrenta la mayor carga emocional y financiera.

Nos acercamos a nuestra comunidad en busca de apoyo durante este momento difícil para asegurarnos de que podamos honrar su memoria de una manera que refleje la increíble persona que era.

Nos hemos fijado una meta de $15,000 para cubrir estos gastos, los fondos se utilizarán para servicios funerarios, costos de entierro, transporte, servicios conmemorativos, etc. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, será muy apreciada.
