Help Jose's fight against colon cancer

Update--

Jose has been admitted to the hospital again with liver pain. They have found that many levels are elevated and they found blood clots in both of his lungs.

After many tests and many discussions with the doctors there they have said that they want to make sure he is comfortable because they don't see him getting better. We WON'T take that as an answer and we stand together with all our family and friends and declare total healing over his body in Jesus mighty name!

After many loved ones have come and prayed over him the past couple days, Jesus opened a door we received a call from a hospital in Dallas, Texas who believe in his healing and want to see him on October 31st. Glory to God! As wonderful and exciting as this news is and Jose still currently not working financially this is a big hurdle with many unknowns. Jose currently only has Medicaid which only applies here in Nevada and won't transfer to Texas so everything has to be upfront out of pocket. His initial appointment to see the doctor is almost $800 not including any tests or imaging. And they do anticipate much more being needed including their recommendations on his next chemo which are very costly. We know Jesus has a plan and a purpose for this and will not let finances come in between us getting the care Jose needs.

We are asking our friends and family if they feel led to please help us make this possible. Anything helps and will be used for transportation and his upfront costs in Texas. If your unable please keep our family in your constant prayers!

The Beginning--

October 1st was a day none of us ever expected to happen. Jose had gone into the ER with abdominal pain thinking it might be his gallbladder and were told he had multiple masses on his liver and was being admitted for more testing. After a couple days and a few more tests Jose was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that metastasized into the liver.

It's amazing how quickly a person's world can change in 1 second. We are currently navigating how to proceed with all of this. Jose has started his first chemo treatment, but know there is a long journey a head of us, and there is still a great deal of uncertainty with what comes next.

We were blessed to have our 4 kiddos together with us. It has been difficult, but so very important to be together. We have also had many friends and family reach out to help us deal with this tough news. Thank you to those who have offered a kind word, good food, small gifts, and support. If you are willing/able to donate to help support our family financially, it would be greatly appreciated. Right now what we need most is prayer! Please pray for Jose's healing and our entire family as we go through this journey.
