Hi, my name is Jaimie, along with my sister Jaina, we have decided to start a fundraiser for our father who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in March of 2022.

Our father, Jose, went to the ER with excruciating pain on his left side. After test were done, they performed emergency appendicitis surgery. Once it was removed, the surgeons noticed some abnormal spots on his appendix. A biopsy was performed and the doctor delivered devastating news. Stage 4  Mucinous Adenocarcinoma cancer. (Appendix ) He underwent an additional surgery to remove a portion of his intensities to clean out the area and would start chemotherapy within the next few weeks.

The treatment plan was for 6 months. Jose has had chemotherapy for the past 6 months. With continued care, CT scans, body scans, unfortunately, the cancer has spread. January 2023, he received the news the cancer has spread. He would have to continue and start an aggressive chemotherapy treatment ASAP.

We do not know what the future holds but are hopeful and he will beat this!
