Let's make his last wish come true!!!

As most of you know, Jose (Joey) has been battling for his life since Oct 26th.

He was taken to the ER with severe abdominal pain. It turned out that he had something else going on besides that. After days of testing, we were given the devastating news.

He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma (Lung) with mets, which has spread to his brain, bones, and internal organs.

He has already undergone radiation on his spine and head.

The doctors then gave him 3 options, which ultimately led to the same destination.

He has a blood disorder now called DIC, which is very rare and caused by the cancer. The only way to treat DIC is to treat the underlying cause (which is the cancer). They only had a very small window to start chemo, which was very risky due to his blood and platelets being dangerously low. The other options were to just see if his counts would go up on their own or our third option, hospice!.....

He chose chemo. He had a chemo treatment on Dec 11th. This whole week is very critical for him. He needs blood transfusions daily to keep his counts up.

He is such a warrior!! Fighting hard every single day.

Jose's wishes are simple but expensive.

He would rather go back home to Puerto Rico to live out what time he has left with his family there, but it doesn't look like we can make that happen. He can't be released from the hospital because he needs transfusions daily and most likely will not survive the plane ride.

So, his wish is this:

In the event he passes here in PA,

He would like to have a viewing here for everyone who loved and cared for him, then after to be transported to PR so his family can have their proper farewells as well.

We (myself and Victoria Cintron) really aren't sure how much this will cost as this all will fall on us, but we want to try to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in our power to help make his wish come true. He is my world, my everything. Let's make this happen Ka Kaaaaaaa forever!
