Joseph's Run for Medical Aid in Palestine

Joseph loved running. He ran for fun, exercise and as a form of therapy. He ran many half marathons at home in Ireland and abroad and he ran the Dublin Marathon with a group of his friends in 2022. Joseph sadly passed away unexpectedly in June of this year at much too young an age, from a short but difficult battle with cancer.

On December 1st, 30 of his family and friends will run the half and full marathons in Turin, Italy. He was a Torino FC fan and went to many of their matches with his dad. We are running together in order to honour his memory by doing something he loved, in a city he loved.

For this run we are raising money in Jospeh's name that will be donated to Medical Aid Palestine. Medical access should be a right afforded to every single person all over the world. In Palestine right now medical access becomes more impossible with every passing day. Israel's ceaseless attacks on hospitals, medical personnel and blocking of necessary supplies/equipment has not only made people's access impossible but created endless death, destruction and long lasting health crises in Gaza. As Israel's violent campaign rages on and spreads into neighbouring Lebanon aid is more necessary than ever.

As all of these generous donations come in and we surpass our goal we will edit the goal amount in the hopes that we raise as much money as we can by Dec 1st for the cause. Thank you all so much.
