Help Joseph Cooch Get Life-Saving Brain Surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I am reaching out with an plea for help on behalf of a remarkable young man, Joseph Cooch. Joseph is just 16 years old and is facing a critical health crisis. Doctors have discovered a rapidly growing tumor on the left side of his brain, and urgent surgery is needed to remove it. If the tumor is not removed soon, it could affect his eyesight or worse. Once removed, a biopsy will determine whether the tumor is cancerous.

Joseph is an exceptional student, consistently at the top of his class, and he has a bright future ahead of him. Outside of school, he is passionate about football (soccer) and loves being on the field. But now, instead of focusing on his education and the sport he loves, he is facing a life-threatening medical battle.

Unfortunately, hospitals in Belize do not have the resources to perform such a complex procedure, so Joseph and his family must travel to Merida in Mexico, for surgery. The procedure will be performed at Star Medica Clinica De Neurocirujano. The surgeon will be Dr. Jose Luis Lozano Marin. The cost of this life-saving operation is in excess of $18,000usd, along with medical expenses, travel, and recovery, this is overwhelming for Joseph’s family. I have known Joseph and his parents, Jose and Theresita Cooch, for years from my time living in Benque Viejo del Carmen, Belize. The people of Benque welcomed me into their homes and hearts, and now I want to return that kindness by rallying support for this deserving family.
