We, the members of the Remsen United Methodist Church and dear friend of Josephine (Jo) Hodge are establishing this Go Fund Me Page to support Jo after she has suffered serious injuries as result of a car accident that was beyond her control. She was traveling slowly on poor roads, hit a patch of ice and slid into an electric pole. The jaws of life were able to free her which took an hour. She has sustained a broken arm, six cracked ribs, a head injury and various contusions over her body. Jo is fortunate to be alive with the severity of the accident and condition of her car.

Jo is a tiny, but very strong devout Christian lady who has faced the many adversities in her life with a smile and a continued strong faith in the Lord. She works very hard in these difficult times to make a living working three part time jobs while being responsible for her small farm of animals. And she has found time to become a lay leader in our church.

Now she has totaled her only means of transportation and will be unable to work until she has healed. Jo does not have health insurance or a nest egg to fall back on. However, she always remains positive with a smile and her faith.
