As we see the devastation in Houston unfold from Hurricane Harvey through the media, one of our own have been affected.
The Joseph family do not live in a flood zone and were the unfortunate victims of the 5 neighborhoods that flooded in Riverstone. They were able to take some basic essentials and had two hours to evacuate. The family returned to a home that will need complete repair of the entire downstairs portion of their house and more. Anticipated costs include demo, labor, supplies, basic family needs, and possibly to repair or replace a car. An estimate of the total cost cannot be determined at this time due to high water levels and limited resources.
As their silblings in Florida, we (Jeney and Jemie), are fully committed to do everything we can to not only help Jimmy, Julia, Lucas, Adam, and Jonathan but also others in the Riverstone community affected by the storm.
Monetary donations are greatly appreciated but also your prayers, talents, time, and well wishes are requested through this challenging time. All proceeds will benefit the family and others affected in the community. Please help spread the word.
