Wedding Registry Harvey Fund

Nicole and I will be getting married in Houston on 30 September 2017, and we have been asked several times what we plan on doing with our registry.   After the torrential rain and flooding of Harvey, there is really only one possible answer.

Everyone in Houston has been affected by the devastation caused by Harvey in some way or another.  Some of us have escaped with minimal or manageable losses.  Others have not been so lucky.   

We have decided to use our registry to help our friends and colleagues at Mischer Neuroscience Associates and Memorial Hermann Southeast who have been hurt most – those who have lost their homes to Harvey.

This Gofundme donation will be made in the name of everyone participating no matter the individual donation.  Funds will be dispersed following the wedding to both Mischer and Southeast administrators who have identified those who have specifically lost homes to help them rebuild.  We have arranged that the funds will go directly to those persons, without additional bureaucracy or processing, so funds are distributed in the quickest way possible.

This registry represents our desire that we continue to all come together.  We thank you for joining us.
