Josepha Mukayiranga's cancer treatment

This is my sister Josepha from Rwanda.  She is 43 years old. 

Josepha has a big heart and is one of those people you meet in life that make you feel special and loved. Anyone who knows Josepha and is reading this knows how beautiful and warm a person she is. She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend to many. A few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with a rare, complex, and fast-growing form of cervical cancer.

I have set up this page because as I write this, she must start undergoing months of radiation and chemotherapy to curb this aggressive cancer. As you may know, cancer treatment bills can be astronomical and a tremendous financial strain, especially when paying entirely out of pocket. There is a specialized treatment that can save her life and help reduce long-term effects in the subsequent years after the radiotherapy and chemotherapy she must undergo.

Time is of the essence and critical due to the aggressive nature of this cancer, and this is the time she most needs our support. After extensive consultations for the best possible way to tackle this, Josepha is working towards attaining treatment at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston- Texas, USA.

After all comprehensive tests and several diagnoses, the cost of Josepha's treatment in the coming months is $150,000, which she will need to pay out of pocket. Please kindly consider donating towards Josepha’s cancer treatment fund. This will help alleviate the financial   stress she is undergoing because this treatment, among other expenses, will not be covered by insurance.
