Joseph's Elbow Surgery
Hello, my name is Freia! I have had the pleasure of watching my boyfriend, Joseph, partake in skateboarding for the last year among other outgoing activities such as lacrosse, lifting, and rock climbing. Joseph enjoys the physical demand in fostering these hobbies and in his work to financially support himself. Unfortunately, Joseph was recently in a skateboarding accident that caused several fractures to his right elbow (more specifically, the radial head). After consulting with an orthopedic surgeon, we have learned that Joseph needs surgery within the next week to repair the fractured and displaced bone in hopes to provide Joseph with the opportunity to regain his mobility and strength to continue fostering these said passions.
Due to limited finances, this fundraiser is being held to help with the medical expenses associated with the surgery which will cost, at minimum, approximately $7,000. We plan on scheduling the surgery this week (by March 27th) which will require an initial deposit of approximately $2,500.
Amidst this difficult and unprecedented time, we hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy.
