Joseph Scarpone Recovery Fund

Our dad Joe had a serious stroke in January. He lost his speech, and use of the right side of his body. He has made great steps towards recovery, but he still has a very LONG journey ahead of him. Therapy in the hospital has been a long, hard and strenuous. We just found out, Joe will be coming home instead of needing further assistance at a skilled nursing facility!!!! Mary Ellen has taken a leave of absence from work to be by his side while he has been in the hospital. She will soon be going back to work, while taking intermittent leave to ensure Joe is not home alone early in the morning before assistance arrives. As you can imagine this is an extremely stressful situation for both of them and all of us.  But with MaryEllen’s leave from work there is now an additional financial stress as the bills do not take a break and medical bills will soon follow.  We are hoping that we can reach this financial goal as Joe continues to work towards his physical goals and gets back to being himself!!!  Any donation will help no matter the size.  Thanks so much from our entire family for your support during this difficult time.
