Joseph P. Coleman Memorial Fund for his children

Joseph Perry Coleman of Wynantskill, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2022. Joey was a graduate of Averill Park High School, worked most of his adult life for his father’s wood flooring business and was currently enjoying his employment at ABC Supply Co. Inc in Albany.

Joey is survived by his son JoJo, his significant other Kyle Rourke and their future child, his devoted mother, Gayle Durivage and stepfather Ron, his best friend and father Jack Coleman and stepmother Tammy, his sisters; Tricia Greaves (John), Amanda Marbot (Tim), Renae England (Keith), Moira Carroll (Dan), Nicole Durivage and his stepsiblings Bria, Nico, Rena (Kendra) Cunningham. Joey is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Tony, Jules, Cole, Bailey and Brody and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joey’s passions where he made many lifelong friends included fishing, golfing, bowling, and softball. He could always be counted on for a big hit and acrobatic defensive plays. Joey loved being with his family, laughing and joking, and was one of the most charismatic people you would ever meet. At the end of the day, Joey was good at EVERYTHING. He was known to Rap as J Butters, could juggle anything, and was a phenomenal dancer.

His greatest accomplishment by far was being an amazing dad to his son JoJo. A piece of our hearts will always be missing. Those who knew him came to love him and will always remember his smile.

We're putting together this fundraiser to raise money for his family - specifically his son JoJo, and his future child with his girlfriend, Kyle, to help make sure that they do not struggle through this tragedy.

Please do what you can, and if you can't afford much, we'd hope to at least see the #26 come through that represented his softball jersey which was one of his many passions. Every little bit will help.
