Joseph’s Open Heart Surgery

Donation protected
As many of you may know, my 34-year-old brother, Joseph Rhoades, has recently gone through open-heart surgery. He discovered through an Emergency Room visit that he had an aortic aneurism and that he was born with bicuspid valve disease which is where someone has a bicuspid valve instead of a tricuspid valve in their heart. Joseph required emergency surgery in order to replace his aortic root with soft tissue from an animal that will need to be redone within 50 years. He has been alone in the hospital for over a week due to COVID-19 and the hospital not allowing visitors.

Joseph is set to be married on 2 October 2020 to the love of his life, Joclyn Bogenschneider. They have a daughter, Radley Reign-Marie, together who recently turned two years old. Joclyn also has two other sons, Hayden and Clayton. The family lives together in Fond du Lac, WI. They already canceled their large wedding in place of an immediate family, backyard wedding.

The family is unsure of the hospital bills and the fact that Joseph will be out of work for three months due to the surgery. They are requesting any help possible for donations in order to make ends meet and make it through this tough time. Anything helps. Thank you!
