Joseph Magaoay’s Road to Recovery

On the night of September 29th, my Godson, Joseph (Joey) Magaoay, was in a tragic accident and is currently hospitalized in critical condition.   These last 72 hours have been emotionally draining for his parents, Ed and Chrisma, along with the rest of their families.  His prognosis, initially seemed grim, but Joseph,  being the fighter that he is,  has made tremendous improvement.   His Doctor stated the progress he’s made in 3 days usually takes others a week.  He definitely is not out of the woods and his full recovery is unknown,  but what we do know is this will be a long, difficult road his family will endure. 

Both of his parents are teachers, who have been forced to put their careers on hold and devote all of their time to helping their baby boy recover. Joey is one of the most naturally-gifted and talented athletes of his class. Among all the sports he has played, he has excelled in both basketball and football. His family and friends would love nothing more than to see him back on the courts or the field, and doing all the things he loves to do. Any contribution is appreciated and will definitely ease the recovery process.
