Joe Kamuda was a remarkable individual whose passion and dedication to our community’s youth through sports and physical education has left an indelible mark. As a high school varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball athlete, and later a collegiate soccer athlete at Lyndon State, Joseph's commitment and love of sports was evident. He went on to coach Otter Valley Varsity Soccer, as well as junior high basketball and baseball, and 5th & 6th grade basketball. His role as a physical education teacher in Brandon for over a decade further showcased his dedication to helping children grow and develop through the fun and excitement of all sports and activities.

Joseph's influence continued to extend beyond playing & coaching, as he served as a high school soccer official for 50 years and a basketball official for 20 years. His contributions to the community were immense, and his legacy continues to inspire many. In his memory, we are raising funds to support the Otter Valley Union High School athletics. Additionally, we hope to establish a legacy scholarship for a OV graduating senior student athlete in Joseph Kamuda's name, ensuring that his passion for sports and education lives on.
