Joseph “Jiggy” Nardone

* Members and friends of the IMBS Golf League have requested that I assist them in creating a Go Fund Me account due to their challenges with technology ;)

This is not a family requested donation, although we are touched by the sentiment and support the mission, as we know their love and respect is sincere.

Joe “Jiggy” Nardone enriched Beaver County not only by coaching baseball, teaching music lessons, opening his own pharmacy in the small town of Koppel, and serving his Church, but also by seeing the best in every person he encountered, encouraging and empowering them to be the best they could be, and educating youth in ways that led them to successful career paths working among us within our communities. The acts of kindness that Jiggy chose to perform did not have to be elaborate, nor did he request acknowledgment or thanks. He did so in a way that you walked away feeling good about yourself and the time you spent with him. Just shy of 97 years old, he physically left this world; however, so many of us continue to feel his presence and wish to honor him with a special memorial. With the money raised and the coordination with the Borough of Koppel, we will determine the best location to remember Joe…an area where we can remember him, share our stories and lessons, explore our own acts of kindness and consider how we can be better versions of ourselves.
