With profound sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our dear friend yesterday morning at just 48 years of age. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Asha, and their six young children — all under the age of 18 — who are now facing an unimaginable loss.

As a family newly settled in Ireland, they were already navigating the many challenges and expenses of starting life in a new country. Now, without their loving husband and father, the financial burden on Asha has become overwhelming.

The family wishes to conduct the final rites here in Ireland, the place they now call home. The costs associated with a dignified farewell will impose a sudden and heavy financial strain. In addition, as newcomers to the country for less than a year, the children will face international tuition fees for their further education. For a single mother caring for six children on a nurse’s salary, these costs are simply impossible to bear.

While Asha has dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a nurse, she now needs our support and compassion. We appeal to you — our community near and far — to stand with this family during their most difficult time.
