Joseph Henson Memorial Fund

As many of you know Joseph Henson passed away on April 8th, leaving us all with many questions and a feeling of disbelief. Joe was a one of a kind person who always had a smile and a laugh for everyone he encountered. Having worked at the Embers Restaurant for over 15 years, one can only imagine how many employees, guests and OC visitors had the pleasure of getting to know Joe as he made you feel like a friend as soon as he met you. He was a person who cared so much for others and never made anyone feel left out of the conversation or good times we all had together. Now more than ever we all need a friend like that. In this time, where social distancing has become the new normal it is important to lean on one another for support. None of us will ever forget Joe. His spirit was something to behold and we are all better off to have known and loved him. As Joe always gave the full measure of his devotion to his friends, I am asking that his friends give whatever they can to help with expenses his family have after incurred after his death.  All donations will go directly to Joe's father, so he can put to rest his son, a man we all loved so much.
