Joseph G. Ganavage III, 65, of Meriden, CT, passed away on July 11, 2022 . Joseph was born on March 7th, 1957 to Joseph Ganavage Jr. and Lillian Ganavage in Waterbury CT. Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 - 1976 receiving an Honorable Discharge. He then worked for the City of Waterbury Park Department for about 20 years . In 1978, he met Melody Scott, and they wed in 1983, going on to have three children, Jennifer Ganavage, Jeffrey Ganavage and Joseph Ganavage iV. In the late years of his life Joseph enjoyed wood carving, singing songs, reaching out to family and talking to and making as much friends as he could. . Joseph leaves behind his wife Melody Ganavage and his 3 kids . Joseph also leaves behind 5 grandchildren who he raised as his own, Edmund Ganavage, Zachary Ganavage, David Rodriguez, Joseph Gorner, and Dominic Gorner. He also leaves behind 2 great grandchildren , Victor Ganavage and Luna Ganavage. Joseph will be missed greatly and be remembered for having the biggest heart full of love, compassion and respect.
