Joseph Douglas Funeral Fund

Hello. On October 12th, 2023, Joseph Douglas had a minor stroke. Things were looking up until the morning of October 20th when my mom woke up to find my father had another stroke that caused loss of motor function on his right side, making him unable to walk or speak properly. It was decided to transfer him from Reid Hospital to Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis. During his time here, his scans suggest he has had another stroke that will prevent him from living a fulfilling life and he wouldn't want that for himself and we dont want that for him either. We have made the decision to allow him to pass peacefully within the next few days. The process will take a few days due to him opting in to being an organ donor. Once arrangements have been completed and details known, I will update this with information about his memorial service. Thank you to all that have donated and shared. Our family is beyond words and appreciate you all for the assistance and we just ask that you continue to share this fundraiser as the priorities have shifted from bills and travel to funeral expenses.
