Friends and family, 

I have very sad news to share with you all. This is the time when we need each other. I need you to help me to help Joseph in his recovery journey ... which will be long and onerous. 
We need to help him focus on his health and take the burden of the cost of living and medical bills off his mind.

Joseph has miraculously survived a terrible "experience".

On Wednesday, May  the 15th, while walking home in Houston Joseph got shot in the abdomen.
He received a lost bullet that came from behind him and didn't see anything.
 He lost consciousness when the bullet hit him,  doesn't remember much of what happened.
Joseph had to be transported to the hospital by helicopter.
He had to go through an emergency surgery where one kidney, the pancreas and sleen was removed.  
He is now conscious, stabilized . It is a miracle. A real miracle.
He is slowly recovering  at the hospital under a different name and is under protection so no phone call, visit, or contact is allowed beside the direct family. 
I talked to him on the phone on Sunday and made him promise to get better and take care of himself. And NOT to worry about anything else.
He is in good spirit.  I was informed that he will stay at his gran mother post hospital but won't be able to work and get back to a normal life for a while.

I will keep you all informed of each step of his recovery. Will try to fly in the next week or so to show him support.
 When one of us get hit, we all get hit.
I want to show him he still have amazing people in his life that loves him and are thrilled that he is alive.
Guns are a malediction in USA. It hurts, kills so many loves one for no reason.
