Dear Friends, 

It is with great sadness that we inform you that our good friend Mystica Devota's Father & Joseph Devota's (Billy) Father In Law, much loved grandfather of Chelsea Devota, Mr. Donald  Bastiansz, Who was visiting them in Edmonton, Canada for short period of time, suddenly fell severely sick.

Mr. & Mrs. Bastiansz were to travel back to Sri Lanka in a few more weeks. 

Mr. Bastiansz suddenly fell severely ill with a severe heart attack and was rushed to hospital, and immediately had to go under a stent replacement. 

All of his 4 main arteries were blocked, He is currently regaining strength in the ICU at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, AB.  Having 3 more arteries that are in critical condition he is awaiting further medical advice from the doctors as he is unable to travel to Sri Lanka in this unstable situation. 

As we all know severe medical occurrences such as this, may cost a fortune as a visitor to Canada, if not covered by the insurance and it is a situation toggling between life and death. At the moment Mystica and her family are in a very vulnerable situation in saving their father at the same time in a turmoil of financial difficulty due to this sudden unfortunate development.
