Joseph a foreign worker with Liver Cancer

Joseph Akan- Nigmi  is 36 years old man, who came to Canada on a 2 year work permit approximately 18 months ago.  He became ill, diagnosed with liver cancer. He has not been able to work because of his health condition. His work permit was expired and he applied for a new one but he is unable to work. He can’t access treatment medications, pay his rent etc. His wife and children are financially dependent on him.
