Hello my name is Mabel. I am raising funds for my brother Josemy. Yesterday the FBI knocked on my door looking for a man who was using my home address stating he had criminal charges. As I went to get my sister concerned, they entered my house unauthorized. Worried because we have young children, we let our guard down and did not escort the officials out. They made us believe he is a serious threat and requested information about individuals in my house to confirm this man was not there, affirming one of my neighbors had told them that they saw him enter my house. Of course I wanted to help them, they searched the entire house and the person they were looking for wasn't there. I don't know when it happened but they began asking my family if we had documents which started to feel weird to me, before I could realize it they were checking our IDs and they told us that they had to take my brother because he didn’t have a residency to be in the US. They weren’t there for the safety of us civilians, it was all a trick to verify if my family had legal status for the simple fact we are a Hispanic family in a predominately white neighborhood full of racist Americans. I had a neighbor say me, you are the only ones who are different here. It was confirmed that there really are people like this. Thanks to these prejudice beliefs my little brother is in prison without having done anything wrong, just emigraron to a country for a better future. We need helo raising money for bail and a lawyer. PEOPLE THIS IS REAL I DID NOT BELIEVE WHAT I SAW ON THE NEWS UNTIL IT HAPPENED TO MY FAMILY BUT ICE IS DECEIVING SAYING THEY ARE LOOKING FOR CRIMINALS TO INSTILL FEAR IN US AND THAT WE ALLOW THEM TO ENTER OUR HOMES, HELP THEM WHEN IN REALITY THEY ARE THE ONES ARE HURTING US, OUR FAMILY ALL FOR THE SIMPLE FACT OF NOT HAVING A GREEN CARD. ANY HELP GOES A LONG WAY TO FIGHT THIS INJUSTICE.
