Joselito Sangalang, fondly called Lito/Kuya Lito, died last Saturday, May 24, 2025 on the Feast of Our Lady, Help of Christians, within an hour after attending and serving with the Filipino community at St. Olav parish for the celebration of Flores De Mayo. He left behind his sister, Maricar, and his daughter, Johanna.

He worked as much as he could given his heart condition and other ailments, and lived simply yet gave generously with the trusting faith in God’s providence. He dedicated himself to serving God, the Church and helping others to know, love and serve Our Lord through prayers, teaching, guidance, and community building. As a community, we would like to help raise funds for his wake and burial with the Catholic funeral rites. The local government will be shouldering the standard burial costs but the other expenses such as the organization for the Requiem Mass and refreshments after the rites need to be covered by the free gift of friends, family and other people of good will who would like to give out of their kindness and generosity of heart.

 If there will be more than enough resources/donations to cover the aforementioned purpose, the remaining amount will be given to his daughter, Johanna, whom he loved most dearly next to Our Lord Jesus.
