Josée's journey to recovery
Donation protected
Josée is this one of kind friend. The one that will go out of her way for anyone. The friend that will always be there for you no matter what. She's that crazy girl that will race in the slush cup and who will lead any adventures you will suggest. Josée is the most generous and loving friend someone could have.
But today, she needs our help. It's pay back time my friend. Here is the story of her newest adventure:
"Hello from the Foothills Hospital dear friends. Some of you may have heard, I pulled of a silly toboggan stunt at Spray Lake yesterday. Doug Reese and I were bringing the toboggan down empty to help taking the shack apart. For the records it was my silly ideas, I’ve done it many time before we rode the toboggan down just for the last part, to be safe and not hit any trees. Well, the lake had dropped quite a bit and we flew at the speed of lightning (almost) over a 5 foot drop that I didn’t see. You know how they say, if you don’t see over it, don’t ski over it,, or don’t toboggan over it I always thought I was un breakable. So I have a Compress Fracture of my T10 Vertebrae, but luckily my Spinal Cord is intact so am getting fitted with a custom design Torso Brace, but they can’t make it Pink or Silver. Just white, it may need to get decorated. I may have to weir that for 3 months. And obviously am done skiing, until next season anyway. Thank you for Fabio Lacentra and the Canmore Ems Team, Kananaskis Fire & Rescue, Donna and Kananaskis Country Warden Team for the amazing Rescue. And off course big thank you to Doug Reese, Geneviève Godbout, Papa Kelly MacLeod and Matee for taking great care of me keeping me calm and warm while waiting for the rescue. Canmore Hospital staff were amazing off course and people here are taking great care of me, the food is even good. This adventure will slow me down for a bit, but like I said it before, enjoy every day to its best cus you never know what’s around the corner, or over the edge "
Let's all show her how much we care and how much she means to us.
For you Josée, so you can go back to your crazy adventures
