Jose's Post Kid Knee Care

Donation protected
In April of 2013, José Amador learned his kidneys were failing. For five years he went through dialysis three times a week. His entire life shifted and focused on his health. Five years later, in mid-May, he received the life-restoring kidney transplant that will put him back in the swing of life.

For the next three months, the immuno-suppresive drugs required to keep his body from rejecting the kidney will take his  immune system down to zero. He has to stay away from crowded spaces like theaters and college campuses. That means he can't work. So... how will he pay his bills? How will he get groceries? How will he get to the pharmacy to pick up his meds or to his doctors' appointments (which are currently daily)?

This is where you come in, friends. You can relieve José of the added burden of financial stress (not good for the kidney or for him). If every person who clicked an emoji on José's Facebook announcement about his surgery would contribute at least $10, it would go a long way to help him pay for these day-to-day expenses. $25 would ease the strain even more.

Please contribute, and ask your network of friends to do the same.

Thanks!
