If you know Jose Zarzuela aka Joselito you know how big his heart was. It is with utter sadness that we inform you Jose has passed away at the age of 74 from a stroke. He was very blessed to have lived for as long as he did because he had a lot of medical conditions that required several operations and medications.

To paint a picture of his life Jose lost his mother at at a very young age. As the eldest of his siblings he had to work from a young age and help support his siblings in their mother's place. This explains why he would go to great lengths to help out any young person he met whether family or not; and he tried to console them and show them that there was more to life. Jose has helped out many people and even in his passing he was able to save lives by donating his organs. 

To us his children "papi" was a very reserved but kind man. He did not talk often but when he spoke we all understood there was compassion behind the tough front he put up, perhaps as a result of his difficult upbringing. What we can all agree on is that he never once abandoned us and did his best to support us all.

The least we can do to honor Jose is to send him off with a proper burial. He has lived a fulfilling life with his family and we wish to hold a funeral service for him. We are a big family of 12, and we need the support of everyone to raise money to cover the funeral expenses.
