Dear friends and family,

There are times when we simply feel like we cannot do ANYTHING to help someone…

I am not very good at this, but I am a person of action and someone who believes in what can be done when a group of people come together.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help our dear friends- The Villada Posada family. As some of you know and many don't, Beatriz Posada or "Nene", as so many of us used to call her, fought against a very aggressive form of cancer for long months. This liver cancer quickly spread throughout her body. After many treatments, therapy and hospital stays, her body gave up and she lost her battle.

Her husband, of over 30 years, Jose, dedicated himself to to take care of her and stand by her side every moment of these harsh past months. For this reason, he has not worked for many months. Their savings have been depleted by expenses related to daily living, Nene's illness and after incurring expenses related to his work tractor trailer getting hit and the insurance company not fronting any of the costs.

Jose and his family are now facing costs related to the burial expenses and medical bills and the result of his work absence.

If anyone deserves a pouring of love, it is this precious family. Please pray for peace for Jose and their daughters- Natalia, Valentina and Daniela.

Hay momentos en los que simplemente sentimos que no podemos hacer NADA para ayudar a alguien...

No soy muy buena con esto, pero soy una persona de acción y alguien que cree en lo que se puede hacer cuando un grupo de personas se une.

El propósito de esta recaudación de fondos es ayudar a nuestros queridos amigos: la familia Villada Posada. Como algunos de ustedes saben y muchos no, Beatriz Posada o "Nene", como muchos la llamábamos, luchó contra un cáncer muy agresivo durante largos meses. Este cáncer hepático, se extendió rápidamente por todo su cuerpo. Después de muchos tratamientos, terapias y estadías en el hospital, su cuerpo se rindió y perdió la batalla.

Su esposo por más de 30 años, José, se dedicó a cuidarla y estar a su lado en cada momento de estos duros meses. Por esta razón, no ha trabajado durante muchos meses. Sus ahorros se han agotado por los gastos relacionados con la vida diaria, la enfermedad de Nene y después de incurrir en gastos relacionados con el golpe de su camión de trabajo, por los cuales la compañía de seguros no asumió ninguno de los costos.

José y su familia ahora enfrentan costos relacionados con los gastos del entierro y las facturas médicas y el resultado de su ausencia laboral.

Si alguien merece un derramamiento de amor, es esta preciosa familia. Por favor, oren por la paz de José y sus hijas: Natalia, Valentina y Daniela.
