Greetings all. This is Richard, Jose's youngest son. My family and I are grieving the sudden loss of our beloved dad, Jose. He recently tested positive for Covid19 and was transferred to El Paso from Monahans to receive care and treatment. During this time, the doctors found out he had severe blood clots in his legs and amputation was the only option in order to save his life. Sadly, he declined. His health deteriorated rapidly and unfortunately we lost him on the early morning hours of  January 23rd. Our family was not prepared for this financially and are hoping and praying for any assistance we may receive.
