This fundraiser is to cover the medical bills for Jose Sosa, and to help his family. In early May, Jose was in good health and working hard as he always has. Everything was normal. Out of nowhere, his foot started to go numb. After several days, he went to the doctor. It was discovered that he had a tumor in his brain. He went in for surgery and the tumor was removed successfully. The next step was to start chemotherapy and radiation treatment as soon as he recovered from the surgery. On Thursday July 30th, his doctors did another scan of his brain. The tumor is back. They have stopped treatment, other than pain management. His doctors have told him that he likely only has days, possibly weeks to live. Jose is a good man. He's a very hard worker and I have never heard him complain. Even during his treatment I only ever heard gratitude from him.  As he has been unable to work, his employer has continued to give him his paychecks and has kept him insured but as we all know, cancer treatment is really expensive even with insurance. His family can use any help they can get to cover medical bills, rent and funeral costs. Not to mention trying to recover from the loss of a husband, father and provider.
