Hello everyone,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce the passing of my dad, José Santos Sr.

He was not a man of many words, but what he lacked in words he made up in strength and presence. He was there for me, my two brothers and my mom - no matter what struggle we were going through. He lived with his heart on his sleeve and most times that got him in trouble lol. But, he was always unapologetically himself and for that I admire him with all my heart.

He was and will always be a proud man, and he would have never asked for a cent. However, he isn’t here anymore and I ask each and every one of you for your help in carrying out his last wishes. We never had much, but what we did have to give was love. He opened his home to many family, friends and strangers. He allowed me to celebrate milestones with you all, and he loved how many people would turn up for me and my family. Now I am asking for a share, a like, a help - for a man who never asked for anything in return but loyalty and love.

Dad, whenever you are, thank you for your support, love, acceptance and encouragement. I love you with all my heart.
